Inauguration Session
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on February 1, 2024. This inauguration session will witness the presence of veterans in the mobility industry from India and various other countries. The event will also feature the launch of new products by prominent companies such as Amara Raja, Battrix, and Ogo Energy Power EV on February 3, 2024, with the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, expected to lead these launches.
Battery Technologies and EV Infrastructure Pavilion

Learnings from the Centre
Recognizing the need to reskill the workforce to meet the demands of the future mobility industry, the IESA Academy, in collaboration with the International Solar Alliance (ISA), will launch the Future Mobility Learning Centre (FMLC) during the Bharat Mobility Show. Located at Pragati Maidan, FMLC will conduct multiple training sessions to prepare professionals for the industry’s evolving requirements. These sessions, supported by organizations such as the Automotive Skills Development Council, Electronics Sector Skills Council of India, IEEE-Power, and Energy Society, will be free to attend.
Dedicated Conferences
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo will feature three dedicated conferences, each focusing on key aspects of the mobility industry:
International Battery Manufacturing, Recycling & Circular Economy Conference
Scheduled for February 1st at Bharat Mandapam, this conference will bring together government officials and industry leaders to discuss various topics, including the additional 10 GWh ACC-PLI announcement, progress in giga factories, raw materials processing, and challenges in the recycling industry.
Global EV Battery Safety Forum
A groundbreaking event, the Global EV Battery Safety Forum will gather battery manufacturers and EV Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to address the crucial topic of battery safety. The forum will also see the participation of esteemed organisations such as the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Underwriters Laboratories, Automotive Research Association of India, International Centre for Automotive Technology, and Honeywell.
Bharat EV Charging & Battery Swapping Leadership Summit
The Bharat EV Charging & Battery Swapping Leadership Summit, scheduled for February 2nd, will bring together industry CXOs and government officials to strategise the growth plan of the EV infrastructure in India. This summit aims to foster collaboration and drive the development of a robust charging and battery-swapping network across the country.
