Hero Vida V1 Pro E-Scooter Range, Top Speed, Review 2023

No, It’s not Hero Electric. This is an electric scooter from Hero Motocorp and it’s been almost a year since this EV was launched in the public domain. People have mixed reviews about the Hero Vida V1 Pro.

It’s priced among some of the high-end electric scooters in India. Let’s know all about this electric scooter and understand whether it’s a suitable investment for you or not.

Battery:

It has a dual battery setup of 3.7kWh total battery capacity. Both the batteries are placed under the seat separated by a plastic cover. Both the batteries are removable but weigh 12kgs each, so removing them if you have physical issues is not recommended.

The Hero Vida V1 Pro gets 3 years or 30,000 km for the batteries.

Seat:

This scooter has a dual-seat setup, one for the rider and one for the pillion. The batteries are placed under the rider’s seat. You get 20 L boot space under the pillion’s seat.

Range/Charging time:

Both the batteries take 6 hours to charge from Zero, and Vida V1 Pro can give 110kms of true range in eco mode (40-45km/h) and go to the top speed of 80-85km/h.

Motor & Braking:

It comes with a BLDC hub motor attached to the diamond-cut alloy wheels. Hero Provides a 5-year warranty on its Vida V1 pro electric scooter. It gets 5 years of warranty on the motor.

Design:

This scooter has got an all-fibre body, and chasey and grab rail are made of aluminium, in the front it’s got an awesome-looking visor, and from the look point of view, this scooter looks super unique and stands out in the crowd.

Features/Display panels:

On the display, it’s got a colourful and beautifully animated display panel that shows, the trip meter, average speed, OdO meter, turn-by-turn navigation, call alert, message alert, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, and app connectivity.

On-display scooter lock facility, battery charging percentage, mode changing feature and custom mode.

Buttons:

You get the kill switch, parking mode, reverse mode, park assist mode, SOS button, and cruise control button on the right-hand side. On the left side, it’s got a joystick for the display console control, hazard light, indicators and horn.

Fast charging:

You can fast the scooter from the Vida’s charging station. You can charge the whole scooter within 1 hour.

Miscellaneous features:

You spot or even track the live location of your charger from the mobile app, geofencing feature, anti-theft alarm, and IP-67 rated which makes its motor waterproof.

Safety Features:

Tow alert, remote immobility, with which you can turn off the scooter from anywhere in the world.

Riding Experience:

While riding my position was comfortable and straight. Its pickup was sporty and the riding experience was great.

0-40 in sport mode – It can smoothly slide to 40km from zero without any struggle.

Final Verdict:

The Hero Vida V1 pro has nothing to complain about. It has the top features, specifications, and excellent service and is priced according to that. The Vida V1 Pro comes at a 1.25 lakh ex-showroom price.
