Delhi has been at the forefront of the EV revolution with heavy incentives and various subsidies as the government provide incentives for electric vehicles of all the categories, EV 3, 2, and 4 wheelers. New Delhi is one of the cities where Ola Electric sells most of its electric scooters, followed by Ather Energy, TVS Auto, etc.

One of the biggest reasons companies sell most of their vehicles in Delhi is the incentives and subsidies given to EV buyers. E-scooters like Ola Electric, Ather 450X, Hero Vida, etc., have the lowest on-road price in Delhi, and the reason behind this is Delhi’s EV subsidy.

In this article, we’ll see how much subsidy Ola Electric gets and explore the on-road price of each variant.

The incentives are linked to battery capacity and vehicle type, providing substantial savings for EV buyers. For example, Ola’s S1 Pro Gen 2 e-scooter has an on-road price of ₹1,29,999 in Delhi but receives a subsidy of ₹19,850, bringing the effective price down to ₹1,10,149.
