The Tata X-Pres T EV is only reserved for commercial/business related requirements and not open for sale in public domain. Here’s why is that. In this article we’re gonna have a first look on a brand-new electric car Tata XPres T EV. Let’s jump right in:
Interior:
On the steering wheel we don’t see any special/complex feature, it just has 2 buttons for horn on a simple clean steering wheel. Coming to the display, it shows mode the car is in, the battery percentage, time, odometer, alert, and regenerative braking levels.
Thinking of buying BGauss D15i?
Experience it for 7 to 30 days with ZECAT by paying a nominal rent
Range and charging speed:
The claimed range is 250km, but its real-world range is 200km with AC in on condition. Charging timing with AC is 1.5 hours in DC charging and in AC slow charging its 7-8 hours.
Build quality:
As you know the vehicle is from Tata, I don’t think I have to mention exclusively that it has a 5-star N-Cap rating that ensures its safety.
Display panel:
You get various features on the digital dashboard, although it’s just a basic screen. It has features like, bluetooth, songs, volume, information, etc.
Buttons:
Coming down from the screen you get an analogous button for, adjusting regenerative braking, battery removal, etc.
Panel/Gear box:
You get AC control, mode regulator, small space to keep all our nicknacks, bottle holder, glove box, emergency hand brake, etc.
Riding Experience:
So in the starting I drove it in the drive mode for some time, and it didn’t struggle to reach higher speed and the suspensions also worked fine the car did great in tough road condition.
In sports mode this car ran like a rocket and accelerate very quickly to 100km/h within 8-9 sec.
So over all the riding quality and experience was good but has literally no usability features. That’s why the Tata X-Pres T EV is not available in public domain and only available as taxi and commercial electric car.
