Warivo is a new electric scooter company in India making low speed EV’s in an affordable segment. Here in this article let’s explore Warivo Nexa low speed electric scooter and understand what this electric scooter has got and see should you purchase this E-scooter or not.
Warivo Nexa Review:
Design:
The height of the scooter is low and by any chance if you are taller than 6 ft, I wouldn’t recommend you to go with this scooter.
This is a plastic build electric scooter but it’s stiff enough to withstand most of the impacts.
You get a drum brake on tubeless tyres and a large footspace for the rider. On the back you get a pillion support but sadly no footrest for pillion rider
You get plenty of leg space and front glove box in the front.
On the both the handles you get horn button, and all the generic buttons and a poor-quality display.
The warivo Nexa electric scooter gets both side-stand and main stand and surprisingly you get a reverse mode too.
Battery/boot space:
You get a lead-acid battery. 4 batteries with a humongous charging time of 7 hours. You get a plenty of boot space under the seat but due to lead acid batteries its energy density goes too low.
With 7 hours of charging, it gives a 60km range (too poor) that too on a speed of 25km/h
Performance:
The top speed is 25km/h although it gets 3 driving modes for no reason, but the scooter can’t go beyond 25km/h.
But this is a no licence electric scooter, so the low performance is evident.
Price:
The on road price is ₹ 50,000/-
Is it worth buying:
In my opinion a blunt, loud “No”. In 2023 if someone of offering you an electric scooter with a lead acid battery it a huge “red flag”. But if you have a low budget you may go with it, but I’ll still advise you going with a li-ion battery scooter.
